This approach leads to faster product deployment at a lower cost, with less rework due to missed requirements. This course reviews the development of requirements, analysis, and design in an agile environment — and helps enhance critical thinking skills.
  • Database Principles. This course examines the design, development, and management of relational databases, and the integration of these databases with applications across the enterprise. Topics covered include database tools, basic structured query language, design, middleware, databases, server architecture, web technologies, and security considerations, among others.
  • Data Analytics. This course serves as an introduction to data analytics — the use of data, quantitative analysis, and modeling to drive business decisions. It also covers specific data mining techniques to illustrate business decision-making.

Study business ethics, strategic marketing, and global business during your core courses. The core requirements emphasize strategic management, leadership, and systems-level thinking.

To specialize the MBA curriculum, the program includes 12 credits of information technology courses. Enhance your analytical and technical skills by taking courses in information technology management, data analysis, and database principles.

The 3-credit capstone course offers a culminating experience focused on case studies and strategic decision-making.
